Phil Goldstein's perplexing mental effect uses six cards from a child's word game. After shuffling the cards the spectator thinks of one and then silently spells its name to "lock it in" - Cards are shuffled again before the mentalist reveals the selection. No sleights or set-ups. Easy to do with one or two spectators.
