Ron Frost's Two Bit Trap
This is actually one of Ron's older effects, but is certainly new to those who are unfamiliar with it.
A clear plastic ring box, as depicted, is displayed, examined thoroughly
by a spectator, and placed inside a small cardboard box. The box is next
placed in full view on a table. A quarter is then borrowed from a spectator
and several colored stickers are shown. Next, the spectator chooses a sticker;
his/her name is written on it, and it is placed on the back of his/her
coin. The coin is then placed in an envelope which is torn or burned and
the coin has vanished!! The spectator opens the box and finds the quarter inside the plastic ring box- a seemingly
impossible effect with ordinary objects. All is examinable before and after
and this astonishing effect is instantly repeatable, too!
