Originally this effect appeared in Phil Goldstein's "Color Series" still available in his book Prism. Now he brings us this special 40 card blank backed deck bearing simple drawings, all different, on the face of each card. The pack is shuffled; the performer turns his back and the spectator is instructed to cut the pack, remove the card cut to, and replace the rest of the cards in their box.The chosen card is pocketed. The mentalist next starts to describe this drawing. Then the performer draws a sketch on his pad and it proves to be an exact duplicate of the selected design! The deck can be completely examined! No forcing, no pumping-a diabolical method! The only possible explanation seems to be real mind reading. This is also an instant reset for the walk-around magician! No skill required.
