More Frost Magic
The magi shows a packet five different cards and they are placed face-down on the table. A spectator is asked to select one of the cards but not look at it. The magician then brings out another packet of cards; he shows there are five cards all with the letter "K" on them. Our wonderworker says, "The "K" stands for king and I have five "K's" printed because I was five times certain that you would select a king than when I first thought about you
selecting a card. But now I feel only four times certain." The magi sets one of the "K" cards aside and shows he only has four "K's" left in his hand.

The spectator is asked to turn over his card and the card is a jack, not a king. The magician replies, "I knew that would happen. That is why I had to make a change." The "K" that was placed on the table is now a jack, too, matching the spectator's card. Then the magi shows the cards in his hand and they now spell J-a-c-k. Finally, the magician says, "You could have selected any one of these cards." When the other cards are turned over, they have all turned into matching jacks, too!!! Typical Frostian magic-surprise after surprise.
