Ron Frost's Color Collusion
Another classic of Ron Frost's resurfaces, which is hard to find. The magician
shows two cards that are placed together in a very unusual manner. One
card is shown to have a green round sticker on the center of its back and one end of the card has an attached green index tag. The card is turned
over to reveal another card. This card has a red round red sticker in the
center of its back and at one end of this card is an attached red index
tag. The performer now shows the faces of the cards. On the card with the
green stickered back is a green sticker on a blank face. Likewise, the
other card is shown to have a round red sticker on a blank face. Both cards
are now turned face-down and placed in a spectator's hand. The magi explains
that what has been shown is really an optical illusion. He introduces two
more index tags one blue and one yellow and the tags are placed on the
ends opposite the other tags already on the cards. When the cards are turned
face-up a strange transposition has taken place. On the card that the blue
tag was placed is a blue sticker on its face! Of course, the spectator
discovers a yellow sticker on the face of the other card! Magic that happens
in a spectator's hand is always better magic. Everything is left for examination!
